Although we had limited time to work this month, we did manage to get a few things started.
After collecting our stipend and the first installment of paint buckets being provided by the Land of Berclavia, our envoy then purchased a number of items from the furniture store. She then scurried home so that the builders could install them. Now that the forestry guild hall has been upgraded, the smithing shop is now undergoing its own upgrade.
The construction crew finished the flooring upgrades to the housing sector. Now, only the several forts and the entry port need the new animal security upgrade!
With time so limited, it was decided that the furniture scaffolding upgrade will wait, as well as the construction of the new clock design for the Berclavia people. Instead, the landscaping around the public flea market was completed.
It is our ambitious hope that next month we shall accomplish the furniture scaffolding upgrade as well as the structural modifications to the market. The scaffolding will require over 1,000 blocks of cobblestone so may take some time to rebuild. We have been saving up stone for this purpose, so hopefully the reconstruction will be relatively swift. The painting of all this stone may take a while longer... If Berclavia is able to supply the materials needed for their new clock, then we shall begin (and perhaps complete) their new project.
We must also remember to tend (constantly) to our neighboring forests as the damage done by lightning is relentless!
