Yes. A reward for your wondrous building skills! I originally started the pirate themed community build "Land of Pirates" as I have a passion for the history. Not only that, but I love the ships! I still love to create model ships, and enjoyed making them in Survivalcraft!

Your goal is to simply make a pirate ship. Details matter, as does authenticity. If you are as passionate about the art of a ship as me, you will enjoy this contest. I think with the release of 2.0 around the corner, this will only make the ships more beautiful and detailed. Deadline is January 20th, 2017. This should be plenty of time to make a decent ship. I would start building my ship now, then continue adding details with the furniture update. Do your best!

The prize is a $10 gift card for anything you want if available.

If you have any questions, feel free to comment!

I'd love to but the problem is I have no idea how to create a good ship.
I just need to know what mathematical factors are important when building a ship(like ratios, even or odd lengths and widths, and all that other stuff like symmetry)
Also, the gift card prize should be out of the subject because I don't think they'll be any competition here anyways. It's a nice motive though!(if the forum weren't dead...)

Unfortunately scdude is right. It's disappointing that there hasn't been a bigger response to the new game, both here and on the wiki.
I wish I had more time and I'd like to make one. I made a big model U.S.S Constitution when I was a kid. Recently, I played "Assassin's Creed - Black Flag" a lot. Got images of ships in my head...
Ugh! Well, do you have a closing date for the project?

Yes. I suspect that the people who are still active here are busy with other things, like me. I'd like to take this on - I built a 3' model of the U.S.S. Constitution and would like to try it in SC but that's yet another (too) big project!
