Love Physics!
Physics makes the world go 'round!

@Bobtron: I learned at U of M, how electrics works. Or the real thing, that is. lol
I learned when you actually plugged things in, not just typed it into a computer.
This stuff is lego toys to me. The real challenge in SC electrics is the topology!

The analog circuts are using 4 bit bitfields to store their value, so the logic operators (AND, OR, NOT) operate on each bit separately:

bit0123
Input 10011
Input 20101
OR result0111
AND result0001

So integer value seven (Binary 1110) "AND" integer value eight (binary 0001) gives integer value zero (binary 0000).

Thanks Max, but this was already explained - see reply #10. Plus, your chart is a little confusing since you are only showing one value for each input (0011, 0111). It would have been clearer if you used the same values as in your follow-up statement instead (1110, 0001).
Perhaps an admin or ritehunter can edit the OP to include this information rather than just leave it in the comments.
