This is a bit of a funny poll, as you can tell. It's oddly specific.

I just wanted to ask: How replayable is Survival Craft?

Without any mods, or multiplayer, how many times can you play the base game before getting tired of it?

It can be in survival, or in creative, or even both.

After you vote, you can choose to keave a comment revealing your rate and reason, such as what you wish to see in the game that'll help improve replayablity.

How replayable is Survival Craft? (Result)

Honestly,

The game is fun and playable, i find that it lacks variety in biomes and lacks many minor features that add to the immersion factor of the game. Its really easy once you establish yourself in a shelter and start farming. I also find that when i start a survival world in a desert or in a cold climate, i struggle to find anything to eat. It seems to me that the warm/humid rainforest climate regions are overly developed, and the rest was just an afterthought.

Same, biomes are a huge meh. Maybe I'm used to watching modded Minecraft playthroughs with Natura or Biomes O'Plenty, but the sheer lack of environment changes is a real bore. Limited to three types of wood and trees, when trees are largely what you see, is also a bummer.

Furnitures also seem really unwilling to be used to its fullest potential, so they don't really help.

Regarding furniture...

I find it very diffucult to make furniture in survival mode. I find the system to be very clunky, and somewhat unwieldy in survival and creative. I also dont like how water destroys stairs, slabs, crafting tables, etc. I also dont like it that you cant place doors on slabs, the lighting is better but still far from ideal.

Exactly, there's just too many little issues here and there that Kaalus refuses to fix and they justa accumulate into one huge annoyance.

The one thing Survivalcraft needs is (cringe) Multiplayer. Just think: It would be so much easier to make giant builds, and even funnier, war! Do you know how many weapons Survivalcraft has?! Therefore, I give it a 4.

There have been several turn based multiplayer worlds, right here on the forum. I'm engaged in one right now, Biome Wars. And yes, we have the possibility of war in it. It's difficult because you only get one turn after everyone else does, roughly once per week. True, online multiplayer would absolutely revolutionize this game!

@stan Haha, turn based multiplayer is kind silly. Can you imagine turn based PvP? I don't even know how that'll work. And yes, multiplayer is key in this game. It means:
-Encouragement to play
-Encouragement to get your friends to play (more players)
-PvP
-Horses and boat racing
-Co-op maps
-Co-op building
-Co-op survival
And so on. Split screen is a step ahead, but it's miles from what actual multiplayer will promise.

Umm, turn based PvP has been around for decades. Every 'tower defense' type game can be turn based. Every pen and paper game has always been turn based. Many (most) popular online battle games are actually turn based even though the players may not even notice it.

Oh, sorry. I mean, turn based Survivalcraft PvP might not be exciting. Turn based stuff is user flatter and more strategy based. I doubt any kids playing the game would be up for that

I was looking for option 6 - it is an addiction, I try not to let it consume all my spare time!
