Stanimosity to Draconia

We read with great sorrow the telling of your trials and truly sympathize with your people. As you may have read we too seem to be beset with unending travails. Do not let it discourage your will, but make it stronger instead!

It is sad indeed that the great source of energy available in the bowels of this earth cannot be utilized for productive purposes. But that seems to be the way the great designer intended it.

We can provide an ounce of prevention against further intrusion by the mysteriously appearing animals. According to legend given to us from our progenitor and apparently from communications directly from the great designer himself, as long as the floors of our domiciles are constructed of non naturally occurring materials and the interior is well lit, there should be no more surprise appearances of unwanted animals. We offer this information in hopes that all within the sound of our voice and the reach of our pen may benefit.

With good wishes for your future endeavors, the People of Stanimosity...

Land of Berclavia to Draconia

Our emissaries have heard of your need for resources and we would like to assist.  However, being new to this world, we assume that you are both short on capital and excess resources.  Therefore, we offer to trade resources for labor.

In exchange for four buckets of yellow paint, with a coverage of 240 blocks, we expect one of your illustrious fountains to be built on Berclavian land no later than two turns from your next visit to the world.

The buckets are already in your chest in the Lodge.  Your removal of said buckets will signify your acceptance of this arrangement.

Should the terms of the arrangement not be fulfilled on your end then we will expect immediate remittance in the form of 640C.

Draconia to Land of Berclavia

Greetings,

Draconian masons have humbly accepted your trade offer and will set to work immediately.  Our architects have submitted the proposal drawings to you on the Discord communication tool.

We look forward to your critiques or approval of the initial blueprint for the fountain.

First and foremost, we would like to announce that the carpentry guild has completed their very first commissioned furniture piece! The furniture factory is officially IN BUSINESS! Granted, several small pieces for internal use had been made before, but this was their first official, contracted piece. We congratulate them and the builders who constructed the framework, for an excellent job.

Also of note is the completion of phase 1 of the city's infrastructure upgrade. All roads now have the subtle underbed lighting so much preferred by our residents. This also means that electricity may be available to any business or homestead. We have taken note of the new lighted poles being used in the Capital City and will likely purchase a number of them for our streets. Our city planners are deciding on a banner design, as we may wish to have unique banners hung from these poles.

Along with the above improvements, the replanting of the great forest commences. This effort will likely must needs be an ongoing requirement. The forestry guild will have to be active and on alert continuously. This world is pitiless in its destruction, it will be up to us to fight it back to the best of our abilities. In this vein, we will be soon purchasing additional equipment for the forestry workers. They have currently built up a good reserve of the common woods and need the equipment to process it more quickly.

In light of recent validation of our scientists' studies, we have begun the effort to replace all flooring in all buildings with "spawn-proof" materials. It seems our patriarch is able to receive communication directly from the great Creator himself, and Kaalus has confirmed what the scientists have speculated - that the flooring material indeed has an effect on the mystical appearances of the local beasts. Hopefully soon, we shall never need fear again coming face-to-face with a dangerous beast within our homes or other constructs!

Stanimosity open RFQ

In our ongoing efforts to improve our town, the people of Stanimosity plan to remake tue furniture factory scaffolding. In light of our plans, we are making this pen request for quote.

We wish to find a supplier for at least 16 buckets of pale blue paint. Should the transaction complete smoothly, we may wish to establish a continued working relationship.

Draconia Monthly Report

Greetings and merry meet,

This was not our most productive month.  We encountered far more deaths than we are accustomed to, it appears the Gods decided to test our patience and willpower.

Our obligation to create a fountain for Berclavia was our main priority and had been the talk of the kingdom for weeks.  In the trek between our kingdom and their city we overall lost 3 transporters.  Bears were on the prowl and hunted them down as if they were a weak prey.

Once we established a secure outpost for resting, we quickly set to work on the fountain and terraforming the landscape.  Our location for our outpost must have been against the Gods will, for they sent a bolt from the heavens and killed our mason while he was asleep.  We then relocated our outpost below the bridge to keep the Gods from reaching us with their fingers from the sky.  This was the last citizen we lost during the overall building process.

Once we completed the fountain, we set to work expanding our mine in an effort to gather materials for our infrastructure works next month.  In the process we had a miner fall around 80 meters to his untimely demise.  This was the only death we encountered in our own endeavors.  We have enough material to hopefully join the federation next month, if time permits or building processes.

We wish to thank Berclavia for the dye.  We will soon begin the process of building our harbor and this is a great help to the start process.  We also hope you are pleased with the fountain.  If there are any changes you wish to be made, we could happily do them for you until it meets your pleasure.

Stanimosity Monthly

We are pleased to announce that the rebuilding of the great forest has been proceeding with success. It is now nearly as beautiful as before the terrible fires. Our forestry service is to be complimented. They are also committed to keeping a more watchful eye on it and will effect repairs more quickly in the future.

Our previous envoy has been terminated and her replacement has sworn to be more diligent in her duties. Consequently the clock faces have been delivered to the exchange chest with Land of Berclavia. The carpentry guild humbly requests that since the creation resulted in an overproduction (8 pieces), that LoB allow us to retain one sample to hang on our wall to display as their first completed contract...

Other activities this month included continued work on the infrastructure wihin our fair village and significant improvements to the forestry guild building. This improvement was requested to allow the guild to work more efficiently. Since they have indeed shown great efforts and results, the improvements were unquestionably approved. Work on replacing all flooring materials continued and as of now, more than half of all buildings have been completed.

Our envoy also reported that the chests in our private section of the Trading Post have been refilled with their former contents. This is a great relief, as we had significant amounts of reserve goods stored there.

Our plans for the near future include upgrades to the Furniture factory in response to their successful processing of their first order. In this light, we have made an open offer of trade or purchase of at least 16 gallons of light blue paint. If another state is interested in this deal, please notify us before next month. If we hear nohing, we shall begin producing them ourselves. However, we would prefer to engage our neighbors in this endeavor.

Finally, we only suffered one loss this month. The poor soul was attacked from behind by a rhino, while avoiding contact with other beasts...
