Since Jose didn't realize he could/should backup in case he died then I'd be fine within taking another full checkout.  If anyone has an issue with that then I will give him my turn.

Invictus sure knows to save...I realized that his checkin was (25) :) !!!

Draconia Draconia to Central Council

Greetings,

We are pleased that our roadway has been approved upon stipulation.  We can easily accommodate a slight movement as our gatehouse plans would be all that overall needs to shift on the big infrastructure part.  Next month we will remove the current roadbed to our borders and build the gatehouse since the council has said that public land roads/bridges could be built and relieve the burden of building and possibly harm to some of our masons.

We are close to having the proper infrastructure for incorporation.
items which we are finding hard to acquire include: beds and lava.  Any guidance on where or how we can acquire these items would be greatly appreciated as they would finish up the overall incorporation issue we foresee in the future.

@SC
Yes, Draconians tend to save at least every other time they wake from a sleep, or after completing a large amount of mining or large amount of infrastructure work.  This ensures if/when a Draconian perishes, we do not loose all the progress they made in their endeavors.

Central Council to Draconia

Prefabricated beds are not needed for incorporation. A simple wooden bed would suffice as long as it is recognizable as a bed. We do encourage purchasing nicer beds from the Furniture Store in the Lodge but it is not necessary. They are available as bunk beds, or in a twin size and a queen size.

Either established state likely has a source of magma and should be willing to sell or trade for a bucket or two. (Stanimosity says, "Certainly".) They could have it gathered and ready for your pickup by your next visit. Have you truly not yet discovered a magma source, with what mining you must already have done?

You do not NEED to remove the existing roadbed, unless you wish to recover the materials immediately. It is unnecessary to add to the time and risk already invested. Perhaps some bargain may be made if you do wish to recover the materials, that would benefit all involved.
If you are able to apply for incorporation during your next visit then your application will be investigated and likely approved the very next government turn. Work on rebuilding the road may be able to begin immediately, assuming such approval.

Draconia to Central Council

Greetings we hope this finds you well,

We we're hoping our miners would strike a vein of the beloved source of heat and energy, lava, but we have yet to find a drop in our large mining operation.  What bargain would you recommend as to removal of the roadbed?  Recovering at least a portion of the material would definitely be helpful to our planned endeavors for infrastructure.

Draconia to Stanimosity

Greetings and good will shall befall your lands,

It has been mentioned by the Central Council that you would be willing to trade lava or that Draconia could possibly purchase one from you.  If this is so, please bestow upon us the cost for a single bucket and where to pick it up and drop off payment, as we need one to get our forge operational.

Draconia to all Diplomats

Greetings and Merry Meet,

It has come to the attention of our political delegates that there is a grand communication tool which we can utilize to have instantaneous communication with the other members of the lands we reside in.

This communication tool is called Discord and can be downloaded for free from any device we may want to communicate from.

What is grand about this communication tool is that we can:
1. Instantly communicate for trade, permission to use other governments lands, and even notify if we see issues other lands may have as we roam the countryside.
2. Notify other governments of their ability that their check in or out time is approaching, and allows for instant communication if you may be missing a check in or out for real world issues which do arise.
3.  Offers a fast means for discussing world issues we may want to debate for implementation or change.

It will solve all the problems we may encounter in individual governments losing progress due to missing a check in or out, and doesn't have the downtime issues we see with this board.

Draconia strongly encourages all governments to download and implement this communication tool so that we may all be better connected.

To download this tool, simply enter your device's store and search for the application call Discord.  Once you have set up a profile please let one of the sitting council members, Stanimos or SCneo, know your information so that you can be added to the diplomatic group that has been established.

We hope this message finds all countries doing well and wish a prosperous future for all.

Draconian Diplomatic Council

Stanimosity Monthly

It is much to our regret that we must report again on the travesties of this world. The terror has no bounds! The forestry guild returned to their task of restoring the grand woods and planted many more saplings with high hopes for their success. Perhaps half of the destroyed areas had already grown back. When the workers return a day later to inspect their work, what they saw nearly caused several to commit suicide on the spot. Indeed, some of the newly planted trees had already grown - AND WERE ON FIRE !!! Will the cruelty of this world never end?
Of course, they immediately set to work to extinguish the fire as best they could. Some of the wood was recovered from the burning trees and fortunately the fire was stopped from spreading. One worker nearly died from catching fire, himself.

While they were busy with this travesty, our construction crews were busy improving the infrastructure in our fair village. A new entry has been added to the southwest wall, next to the furniture factory scaffolding. We now have 4 proper entry ports and one more may be coming. This new entry will accomodate those of our people wishing to explore this world via a waterway. It is adjacent to the little bay which connects to the larger body of water to our south. Our scouts have reported that this body is fairly extensive and may even be expanded to connect to additional waterways. It is even possible that a water based route may be made between our land and one of the new neighbors. Should these neighbors prove peaceful, we may petition the Council to build this connecting passage. As well as the waterway, this entry should make it easier for our neighbors to establish a safe route to their own lands.
In addition to the new entry, other roads were upgraded. Also, as the subterranean infrastructure was being constructed, the crews ran across a fault in the earth and called on our miners. They determined that this fault was in fact the start of an extensive cave system, below our very feet! They were ecstatic and began exploring these caves, immediately. A vast lake of magma and several mineral deposits were their rewards.

This month, only two people were lost to the vagaries of this life, both to the savage beasts. We must remember to never stop looking about us. Death will sneak up from behind and take us with nasty sharp pointy teeth.

We must apologize to the people of Draconia for our missed opportunity to supply them with the magma they requested. In their zeal of exploration, the miners consumed all our available time and forced our representative to use excessive haste in returning to the Tavern. In her haste, she forgot to grab the magma bucket sitting next to the door...

Lastly, we strongly petition the Council to rebuild the two paths through old Vraeston which are useful as passage to the Capital. Both the northern road through the mountain tunnel and the central road through the ruins have been obfuscated by the Council's environmental cleanup crews. It was quite a surprise to gallop into the tunnel only to be met with a solid wall of stone at the other end! Although it was a relief to not see that massive strange building we heard was called a "mall", it is still inconvenient to have the accustomed roadways obliterated. Stanimosity will welcome a chance to rebuild these roads as part of our public service duties, during the very next government turn.

Berclavia Academics Guild Response to Stanimosity

We regret that, during our recent world purge, some incompetence on our part led to rework which severely reduced our ability to rebuild the path. We appreciate your patience and offer to rebuild it and apologize for the inconvenience.

Draconian Grace Time

The Draconia Guard has reported that we will be taking a 1 hour grace period for the check in this turn.  We are sorry for any inconvience, however, if we do not invoke our grace rights we would not have the ability to make it to the tavern before check in time.

Draconian Monthly Report

Greetings and merry meet,

Draconians began our month off strong and it appeared the Gods had cast a time of peace and good will upon us.  This quickly changed however.

We began our month by finding a new mining location in hopes of increasing our cobblestone output, as this is our main building material.  We quickly also discovered a source of the precious heat giving and metal working lava we so desperately needed.

Our masons set to work on our large warehouse.  They found the endeavor more labor intensive than originally planned.  This caused a large setback on our monthly timeline, but we now have a functional warehouse.

Our metallurgy guild was able to complete their forge, and can now create ever increasing tools and weapons for our people to utilize.

Then, the Gods decided to give us set back after set back.  First, we found that lava is not an energy source for our beloved furnaces.  In the process of discovering this, we also set the inside of one of our dwellings on fire.  Our metallurgist narrowly escaped the blaze with his life.  Our masons and carpenters quickly rebuilt the burned structure.

We lost a carpenter, while he was asleep, to a random coyote which spawned inside our town hall by some weird act of the Gods.  We also lost a miner when a lion spawned inside his house while he was asleep.  The Gods definitely were not pleased with us this month and showed it with their placing of creatures with our residents in their most vulnerable of time.

After the lion attack, we lost as motivation to continue great work on our infrastructure and decided to focus on the basic layout of roads and beatification.  Our miners dug a new section of road bed and built a lavish water feature to mirror the other features in our kingdom.  This took a great deal of time but we are prepared to lay the road next month.

They also removed a great deal of the sand around our kingdom and replaced it with fertile earth which has provided much green to our previously desolate landscape.  This endeavour will be ongoing until our kingdom is as green as the surrounding lands.
