Didn't mean for it to sound rude or anything.  Was just dumbfounded when I saw I was skipped because I didn't check out in 10 hours when it wasn't my turn to checkout.

I'm still confused as to what this celebratory thing is, and what exactly is supposed to transpire once the world is checked in by Stanimos.  Is the link the active link or a link a separate link from the world link so everyone can see the celebration?

No worries there, invictus. I try not to read emotion into internet posts and just respond to the words...communication is hard enough IRL!

i am on mobile so I can't refer to the post but check stanimus' post to hardgamer. I think his intention is to release a link for everyone to check out.

He he seems to have some idea as to how the next checkout will work but frankly it's a little unclear to me.

Stanimus us may be having a rough time but I'm sure he will post soon.

First let me apologize for the confusion. Yes, it's Invictus' turn next. I replied to Hardgamer's post without giving it my full attention. Nobody has been skipped.
The link which will be posted will be suitable for anyone to download but only Invictus will turn the next one in. So everyone else will just be an observer. You can watch the show then see the upgrades to the city. I was hoping to get more added but such is life...
...back to it or it'll never he ready!...

stupid, stupid, stupid!

Well, I made a blunder here. (Insert foul, self-deprecating language) I was just merrily making changes to the Capital, enjoying myself and slightly pleased with how it was turning out. It wasn't until I saved it that I began to think something didn't seem right. But I was in a hurry and trying to get more done than the time allowed, so I didn't pay it much heed. Then during the last save it hit me - it was turn #99 which I was saving, NOT #100. Arrrrrrrrrrgh!!!

So, here's what we'll do: Invictus, take this link: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/xan5cghdk72pw1h/Phoenix%20101.scworld?dl=1 . It does include everyone's bonus chest upstairs in the Tavern. Shortly, I'll post the celebration link for everyone to download and enjoy. Then when you're done, you may delete it. I recommend watching the show first. You'll need to start it with the button, then step back to watch. When it's over, sleep in the bunker under the observation platform. Then go check out the changes to the Capital.
Yes, those changes will NOT BE in the world Invictus gets. But, during the next government turn, I'll add them to the 'real' world.

P.s., The show isn't as grand as I was hoping. The limited number of slots in the dispenser makes it much more difficult to do what I wanted...

Celebration Day

This world has decided to fight me. It's in cruel but it won't let the sun rise. So, forget about sleeping and just watch the show then wander around town. It's not a keeper, anyway...
Just flick the switch on and you won't have to move to see it. Then look around and go down the ladder. I think animals aren't spawning, anyway.

Land of Berclavia Response to Celebration

100 visits.  Over 1000 conversations. A dozen worlds, many forgotten.  Despots, intrigues, alliances, prosperity.  The Phoenix has arisen from it all.

This world has allowed us to grow as the leader of a city-state, and remain committed to developing this state within the confines of a cruel existence.  While at times the effort seemed too much, the reward of a physical building that mirrored our mind's eye was more than enough compensation for our efforts.  To know that we dug, placed and died for that structure brings an odd joy to our hearts.

Other surprises:
Participating in the orderly progression of a set of world laws provided unexpected enjoyment and interest.
Gaining the knowledge of world eradication to combat wrongdoing
Increasing confidence in building, crafting and farming
Meeting other world leaders

Here's to another 100 visits!  We can't imagine what will happen!

Yes. He should have time to pick it up soon. While I had a creative link, I scouted out an alternative path for him that should be much easier. It goes through more open land and avoids all cold regions. It should mostly just need some tree removal to make it horse friendly, which he can do.
I also discussed a possible water route from near Stanimosity, however dealing with horse boarding is an issue in that case.
Stanimosity and Williamsburg may together petition the Council to build a road to make it easier to access his land. Or, to open the waterway...

Land of Berclavia - Internal Dispatch to Scouts

Please be vigilant and observant.  There are newcomers in the land that are not forthcoming with their activities.  While they are under no obligation to be transparent, we nevertheless wonder what they are up to and hope their reticence does not bode ill-intentions.

Draconian Monthly Endeavour

We saw a prosperous month.

Our primary goal this month was to increase mining and provide a mode of travel that was safer than jumping from cliffs and swimming across lakes and streams filled with an odd carnivorous fish we have never encountered before.

Our arhitects laid out a beautiful road and bridge vision for us to create.

Our miners got to work expanding our mine and managed to gather plenty of material for our roadbed.

Our masons set to work laying the bed foundations, and managed to produce a road from the capital to our small land claim.  There is still much work to do on the large and small bridge, but we are sure that next month we will be able to complete our vision.

There are many great works in the planning stages that we hope to fulfill sooner rather than later.

Central Council Notice

It has come to our attention that there have been several attempts by newcomers to construct roads or trails leading to their proposed territories. It is important that roads on open lands be approved by the Council. There are several reasons for this. An important one is that the Council has access to information not available to individual participants in this world. Specifically, information helpful to keep "world bloat" to a minimum. The Council also has the ability to scout out alternative route which would prove to be an improvement. Of most import to the various individuals, the Council may build these roads, at NO COST to the individual states.
Although the "no cost" part applies only to incorporated state (who are then members of the Council) we WILL build a series of "signposts" to indicate the best path. These signposts are at no cost, and may be upgraded to a surface road once the relevant party does incorporate.

Note that any roads built on open lands without approval are subject to elimination by this Council (including the stretch of unapproved road built by Stanimosity, running west from their western gate). Such removal may occur without warning. This notice and the posted rules are sufficient warning!

Stanimosity Monthly

(Late release)
Once again, it seems our master planner was busy with other plans! After a few fits and starts, we decided to investigate the area where the despot king once ruled - Saxondale. Although the land seemed pristine, there was also a negativity about it.
We did discover some coal and while mining it broke into a cavern system. This cavern seemed to have no end so we explored it as long as we could. It was very fruitful.
