I don't know for how long but survivalcraft needs an local multiplayer network multiplayer because just imagine how fun will this game will be if it is multiplayer.
This is a few ideas if multiplayer is in survivalcraft:
1.multiplayer survival(basic)
2.Hunger games
3.minigames
4.Cowboy styled showdown

I hope some of you will concider reading

he's just put up sc 2, so it should be pretty soon. im guessing he was setting up sc 2 up to this point, so yeah, he should be looking at other stuff now

Klaus has already answered this.

"Multiplayer is the most requested feature. This feature would take X months to complete while survivalcraft stands still. In the meantime, all the low-hanging fruit will be added to improve the SC experience until multiplayer will be added."

Local Area Network Multiplayer would be great, but even better would be servers; however, the elephant in the room right now is hosting: who's going to pay for that? I think maybe if Kaalus were to add a fee for hosting or allowed you to set up a server on your own computer (my raspberry pi would work great for that!), then it might not be a problem. The real challenge right now is transmitting data from one device to another. As of 2.1, there is single device multiplayer, so once Kaalus tackles wireless I don't think it will be long. Either lan or bluetooth would be great!
