@invictus

There's no rule that says you have to post that you read the rules but that's a good idea so i added it :) Since the rules aren't on the front page we just want to be sure there are no questions. I've edited the post above to put you into the turn order

In this world we value detail over restrictions on building materials.  The requirements are at the link below.  Your building must have signs and "furniture" (can be built from plain blocks, furniture you make yourself, or purchased from the lodge).  If you want to incorporate faster you are welcome to build out of dirt and leaves though the hope is you will upgrade and add to them over time.

The mention of dirt and leaf buildings reminded me that Block Story actually spawns several mud hut designs that aren't bad. But, that's one of the major positives about that game - it spawns an incredible variety of structures! For those who don't already know, the Lodge is one of those structures I copied from Block Story. Now, if Kaalus added spawned structures like that game does... well, that's for another topic.

Yea, it sure is. I thought I had mentioned that before I built it, because I can't take credit for designing it. (Wish I could!) The game generates many complex structures and a year ago I began adding them to the wiki: [http://block-story.wikia.com/wiki/Generated_Structures].
I now see that wiki has had barely a single exit since mine and is in terrible shape. Oh well, I have enough to do and don't play that game any more. (It runs very roughly on most androids, anyway.) Someday, I'll probably pick it up again - especially if Kaalus dallies too long with this latest update...

@Jose
I'm glad to hear that you're still interested! SCneophyte posted the turn order several posts ago. Here it is as posted: me, (currently checked out)
Stanimus
TonedMite
Invictus
Hardgamer

Since you did request joining before Invictus did, and we honestly haven't heard from TonedMite in over a week, you can take his place, right after my turn. If everyone sticks with us, we have 5 players! That's almost a full house. (We'll leave a spot open for Tonedmite, in case he shows up again.) Everyone has to understand that it means it could be a week between each turn. And on the contrary, in case people miss their turns, we still need to look in here often so we don't miss ours! I don't want people to be upset over missing a turn but we can't sit idle for days because people aren't ready for a checkout, either.

Land of Berclavia to Newcomers

We hear that there are newcomers have appeared at the Central City port.  We don't yet know whether they will be friend or foe.  While we are a private people, we are not unwelcoming.

Please visit our shop at the Trading Post south of the Central City and you may help yourselves to a few pumpkins at no charge.  We are also happy to offer you two stacks of dirt and one stack of stones as an offer of peace and prosperity.

The clothing that is found in the store is not yet for sale.

Welcome to this land and we hope to welcome you into the Federation in short order!

Understanding the depth of the rules, is it usually difficult for them to change, if at all?
Also, understanding this is a constitutional rule based game, what are the rights of the people and states? Unincorporated, Incorporated? Protesters? Progressives? Conservatives? Criminal rights?(not saying I would)
I think adding rights would be a good way for people to understand what they're doing and who they are in the game, and not just based on rules, but a deeper meaning. One which neither rules, rewards, nor punishments can give us. Just my perspective.

@Jose, I'll probably be turning in early and that should work out for you. I took a short government turn in order to clean up some issues and set up the starter chests for both you and Invictus.
(I'm going to hate myself in the morning...)
I'll answer some of your questions while I'm still conscious:
Most of the rules are debatable. All incorporated lands are members of the Central Council as well and welcome to all debates. Non members can still offer suggestions and requests, but don't have a vote.
As far as 'rights', the central government can only govern issues between the states, issues related to incorporation and provide public infrastructure. Any rights or powers not specifically given to the central government are reserved for the individual states. (This is how the US constitution is constructed as well, although they violate it constantly.)
If you can look in here once in your am just to see if someone before you missed their turn, you should be ok to be available only in the eve. If it looks like your turn would come up when you won't be available, just post a quick note to that effect and you'll be covered. Communication is key.
Goodnight all (2:30! Oh,man.)

@Haziq: if Tonedmite doesn't show up soon, we'll have one opening
@Jose: FYI, SCneophyte and I are the 'old timers' here and we have a vested interest in keeping it going. Either or us will try to answer any questions. And technically, I'm the World Manager, so I have to help when nobody else can.

No, no, no. Stan, dont misunderstood. I'm just asking how much people here who are joining, not asking for one empty place.

Yeah me too. Was hoping to get to it tomorrow but my flight home is delayed and I won't get to sleep until about 3:30am so tomorrow  is a wash.
