Don't beat yourself up over it, Beboy. I think every one of us had the same thing happen, in one way or another. I once took the link and worked many hours before I realized that it wasn't even my turn. Look at the bright side - it's always easier to do something the second time!

Besides, I noticed a problem with the terrain reset that needs to be fixed before I can play it. I just hope neo can fix it easily! Otherwise, it will take a lot of work just to recover properly. So, I might be in a similar situation. (again)

I'm fine now @stanimus :-) I just found a better place than my first choice...
And it's near to the capital, just next to berclavia's land claim..

So I think I should wait for my next turn :-)

@beboy:  care to share?  Land claims are around 200 x 200 blocks and I can't imagine where yours would be next to mine and near the capital at the same time.

I mean the place with unfinished fort in icy place...

I will settle down @ the south of it. If possible can you make a marker of the end of your territory in there? (Even just in south) so I won't get wrong..

And what I mean with near to the capital is this location near than my first option.

King Hagorn of Hathoria to council

"PROPOSAL FOR THE USE OF STONE GENERATOR BEING LEGALIZED"

Stone is one of the basic materials for building different kind of infrastructures it is also used for crafting tools.

Currently our way to get this item is doing the basic process quarrying using pickaxe, we're using this method for a long term already so we can clearly see how hard it is. It takes us year for collecting it but then after a year of hard work still not enough to make a single structures.

So here I am King Hagorn of Land of Hathoria proposing my idea of using stone generator being legalized. This machine will help us to do our jobs a lil easier.
But of course it's not for free, cause we need to work finding the materials for this to be obtained (germanium crystal basically). Government can also implement a tax for it to be paid monthly or weekly? Wether we used it or not as long as it is functioning.

-good benefits it could give-

-A time to be used for building instead of quarrying.
-a bigger buildings to be made.
-more time to collect other materials
-a better design for roads, borders and bridges.
- added tax income for the government.

- Bad effect-

- the trade for stone items will probably going to end. But it's only one disadvantage against 5 advantage?

PS: this will actually not gonna ruin the game.. As a matter of fact players will be forced to improve their income cause of that steady tax needed to be paid. And also tax evasion for several times will cause removal of that machine and confiscation of the materials for it. Maybe we can also add some rules for taking permit with some amount before it can be built.

Central Council to Hagorn of Hathoria

Since the hisorical records of this world are gone we can forgive this error in judgement. This time. The argument for the infinite generator a.k.a., the glitch machine, had been brought before this Council before and was rejected. It's continued use was discovered and the result of the conflict it caused can be seen as the abandoned city of Vraeston. Please do NOT pursue the subject unless you wish to join the people of Vraeston in their banishment and disgrace.

It must be understood that much time will be spent mining for stone. This is a natural state of affairs for this world. Each territory must expend great effort to gather the materials for construction, both wood and stone. Such efforts may at times be quite dangerous as well as monotonous. If these efforts are too great for your people, perhaps you should consider settling in another world. Maybe one not so CRUEL?

It is the belief of this Council and its member states that these very efforts bring a certain pride of accomplishment. It is the struggle and success which brings meaning to this existence.

Beboy solisUnderstood.
We then prepare our self for an extra hard job.

Yes, it can be tough. On my last turn, I wore out 4 iron pickaxes just to get enough basalt to finish the roof on the library.
Plus 4 iron axes and half a diamond one for all the wood to build the bookcases!

Berclavia to Central Council

Due to the tragic loss of our records' library and the renewed interest in the evil "glitch machine" we request that the laws of the land be updated to make clear that these devices are strictly not allowed.

Furthermore, it is our opinion that the discovery of any such machine should result in instant and permanent banishment.

We wish to also state that we understand the allure of this device....but without it each block, each wall, each building is earned through hard work and pride!

While we do not wish to speak overmuch as to the inner workings of our land, we use the need for stone as an opportunity to terraform our underground areas and thus accomplish two tasks at once: acquiring stone and shaping our inner world.

Land of Berclavia Update

We've had a terrible setback. Special circumstances prevented us from taking the usual precautions during our visits so we decided to work on the consolidation of our resources to one location; considering this a "safe" activity.

However, a worker's laziness led to a significant setup. The work was almost complete when the worker ripped up some leaves, thinking that a column of leaves would be below only to see empty air!

We expect that the worker contemplated her life as it flashed before her as she fell to her death. We hope she felt shame and regret as her lack of foresight to take the time to build a ladder resulted in a week's worth of lost productivity.

2 hours...I loose my turn for 2 hours..... How was I supposed to know? I was at school.
This absolutely sucks for me, because now i have to wait another week just because i wasn't here for 120 minutes.
I had already checked and assumed toned mite would pick it up, and told myself "I'll just check and see if he picked it up" but i couldn't cause I was at school...

@hardgamer

If you are still around then Take stanimus' link. I lost all my work due to not being able to back up.

The rules are clear and we have all missed turns. The alternative is that the game can stall for days if people don't pick up links.
