@Colin I'm in the USofA. In the big mitten - Michigan. I've always said I can't be labeled nor do I fit into Hilary's buckets (inside political joke).

Sorry I haven't made any berclavia updates. 18 hour days this week. I paid my newspaper dues. Has it been released?

Stanimosity Monthly

Our progress in this world has lately been unbearably slow. It seems this fictional 'reality' continues to take it's toll on our ruler and guide. However, we were able to enjoy a brief and unexpected extra visit. This time was spent opening the Trading Post and upgrading our road system. We were hoping to complete the interior of our grand church as well. As our scouts went out to gather materials, they spotted an undiscovered cave system. We must have passed it by a dozen times before and missed it! So the rest of our time was spent employing miners to acquire what they could from this cave. Sadly, the cave was not exceedingly productive.
We shall have to finish the church next month...

We would like to remind our neighbors that we still have stock of raw spruce in the Trading Post as well as other materials. Some others may be available as well if there is any need.

@Tonedmite
Sure, we do have one spot left.

Just two questions for application process.
1.Do you know how to XML, or Chunk edit in Survivalcraft?
2.How long have you been playing survivalcraft?

@Fredhats
You're next on the list

@stan Awesome, so you are an American. That's really nice. A lot of users are foreign including me and it's kinda tiwisted to be surprised by an american

Player of the game for four years straight. Somehow an admin.

It seems we may need to clarify to new players that they need to be able to check in here at least daily, maybe twice daily in order to catch their turn within a reasonable time. Is it supposed to be Fred Hats' turn? It's been 12 hours, now...

Gahh!!!! I hate you reality!!!!!!!!!!

Work is being very irritating. My schedule is not allowing me to log in at the times you request me, and I haven't got half the time I had when I joined Biome Wars. So, I must make this woeful statement:

If the login requirement is daily, I won't be able to do anything for like the next month. Maybe more. As far as the biome wars is concerned, Estlithvia has been assimilated into it's neighboring lands, and her leader is missing. Perhaps in the distant future her leader shall return and lead her people to glory, but for now we're screwed. Sorry about that.

I resign, at least for the next month or so. I'm very disappointed in myself. Blow up (or tear down if you want the materials) my stone building so I can at least say I died in glorious battle. Raid my chests if you want, and just act like I got attacked by barbarians. That way the shame won't be so great.

If I do return I will start from scratch again. Have all you want.

*Sigh*

The world of reality can be a very cruel world.
Is there any day or time that you know you'll be here to play again?
Maybe we can schedule you to a certain day(could be weekend, could be a day off you have, etc.)

My land is developing very fast, so if you still want to be my northern neighbor I could make a simple border for your land so it can be reserved for you later.

Gov't turn checkout

I guess I'll take the government turn since it's been sitting idle here for 24 hours, now...

What proposals have we agreed upon so far?
I know we had:
-The magnet
-Jobs each person had for 100C a week
-Vraeston Park

I'd like to add:
-A road going in a nearly straight line from the trading post to the southside of the capital.

@scdude: I prefer roads that are harmonious with the natural topography. Would this straight road do that?

@all:  I haven't been as active outside of taking my turn but it seems like checkouts are getting really lax. Is interest in the world waning?

No, but a road that would be the shortest distance.

I still have some interest, but that's just due to the fact that there's more players here, and i want to finish my land. I'll probably only play for 3 or 4 more checkouts before I call quits.

Don't worry about the road between the Trading Post and the capital. It can be done with only cleaning up and expanding existing roads. It won't be a straight line but it won't be a twisty one, either. I've been using the route for awhile already and already startled cleaning it up. I assume by the proposal that I have permission to undo some of the destruction inside Vraeston? (Namely, the roads in question.) How about having it go through the tunnel on the west side of the capital? Then it would interfere the least with any plans for Old Vreston. I can finish that this gov't turn. I already upgraded the tunnel and connected it to the roads in the capital. I use that route extensively as mentioned.

I know I didn't make this a proposal but, I've already been landscaping the capital. We'll have more room and flatter ground to build more stores etc there now. What I don't know is whether we want a dock in the capital. I could prep the landscaping for it, if so.

I noticed someone has modified the Lodge. Did you really think there needs to be windows inside the closets? LOL

@SCdude if you're going to back out, then I assume it will be up to me and neo to decide whether we want to continue. I can try to recruit more players but whatever happened to all the new people asking to join???

I'm bummed to hear it dude. Are you going to start BW3 then?

I haven't played many community games but my first feeling is that BW2 should end if the world creator leaves without a dedicated successor.

Although it appears that I'm the head of this world, Its actually everyones world. I'm just the founder.
Not in every case has the founder been the one who has led to the success of the world. It is everyone else too.
If I let you two run the world, it wouldn't be much different or fall apart suddenly(thanks to our constitution).

After I leave, which is probably two to three weeks from now, I'll donate all my possesions in the world. I'll also release all the Newspapers and old files.

All off topic

@Colin I find it curious that you are surprised at being surprised by an American. Some of our politicians would have us believe that the entire rest of the world considers us oddballs or crackpots. I didn't think we might be considered boring!
