Yes Colin, there are adults here! LOL

Ever since I started with this game, it seems I've suffered nearly every bug there is. Only for a short time was I able to upload to CC - no longer... The twitchy look bug is not unique to me. I know at least two others experiencing it. It can suck in survival! I have to try to never be caught running away from a fight since I might suddenly be running AT the beast! Mountain climbing and spelunking can both be more dangerous than usual, too!

And maybe this is just me but I'm a little uncomfortable describing people by allusions to their body parts... (or is it just Hex trying to tweak me?)

So... it's been 18 hours since neo turned in and nobody has picked it up yet. According to the rules, after 10 hours, the next person in line loses this chance. Then the next (after another hour?). Since neither Fred nor creeper has taken it, it should have gone to dude...

Or, are we only applying the rules whenever it suits us and ignoring them when we feel like it?

@stan I only know Aesop and Xotoxi are adults, and perhaps Cursedth. Tinkerer is a young adult. I mean, I don't really get personal info from anyone around here until by sheer chance the conversation happenstanced upon it. Are you an adult, by any chance, Stan?

I just thought 'sausage party' was a rather accurate statement and was fairly PG. I just like using fancy and/or weird phrases and such.

I don't know what's wrong with your device to be so severely plagued by issues. I've never had major bugs across my terrible GT-N8020 and then my Tab S2.

@Colin most of the bugs I deal with have been apparent across several devices! Three tablets and now my phone. They're clearly not device related bugs. Granted, this phone does have a touch input problem but since I'm not the only one with the jerky-look bug, my device can't be the cause. I do always push the limits on pretty much everything so I guess they get exposed more readily with me.

Yes, I guess you might call me an adult, but I'd rather be judged by my behavior rather than age. Although there are enough clues here and there that a good investigator could determine my physical age pretty closely. (Not all the 'clues' are in this forum...)

Don't get me wrong - I'm certainly not a prude! Since I've been chief admin on the wiki, I've become more sensitized to potentially inappropriate language. So, yes, that term may actually fit and isn't truly crude. It just slightly rings that warning bell in my head.

And... off-topic convos are why we're at 82 pages, here! LOL

@stan I kinda enjoy this conversation. It's going rather will. I wish you had replied about thw Google thing tho.

Most people are rather anonymous online. People guess my age around my actual age, so there's that. So yeah, you can sound really adult if you're young, or sound really childish for an old guy. You just can't tell. Unless you quiz them off the bat about sciencey ##*! and what not, but otherwise, normal conversation won't show much.

You're absolutely right Colin. I've spoken with pre-adolescent people who sound more mature than some seniors! And vice versa, too. I've looked at some elderlys and told them they sound like they're 6! Personally I whole heartedly believe that we can keep ourselves mentally young by keeping a child-like awe of the world. No matter how old we get, it is always invigorating to stop and admire a beautiful sunset or an unusual flower or even a funny bug. Child-LIKE is not child-ISH! People who know me tend to call me wierd and I take that as a badge of honor!

Oh, sorry. I didn't think you wanted me to check out right then. I can wait until my next turn in the round before taking it. Go ahead for now.

@stanimus I save worms when they try to commit mass suicide after a rainy spring day and can get lost watching water drip from an awning and splash into a puddle. I don't care if that makes me childish or weird.

SC may be seen as a kids' game but I don't care about that either.

@SCneophyte I think once you feel that life is just another boring day after the last, the body reacts and begins the process to satisfy the unspoken wish. Keeping an attitude of amazement at the world will help to prevent that self destruction.
BTW, those worms are avoiding being drowned or getting jungle rot. They should be left out to dry off a bit. They like some sun now and again, as well. They just don't have the brains to consider robins or shoes...

@stan i can tell you're kind of the weird one, judging by your profile pic and the way you carry yourself. where're you from?

@scneo i doubt sc is a kids game. it's much more challenging, too much for kids.
