I didn't have a chance to check it out his last turn, Colin. Barely had time to get anything done during Easter...

@Stanimus #1598
I don't know yet. We can schedule him after scneophyte if he shows up.

@Stanimus #1599
You mean the one with the link at the furniture store?

@Hexr #1600
Yeah, I finished it in under 90 seconds. It's a little too easy

@scdude that's sad. i didn't know you were parkour expert. Scneo himself said he wasn't well versed with parkour. That's the issue, lo. Creating a course well balanced amongst you guys.

@stan that's okay. did you find any eggs or is the hunt too kiddy for you?

My Proposal:
To have a magnet at the central city, and also not have any magnets allowed in the world so travelers can get to the central town on a straight route.

@SCdude 1) Yea, the link in the furniture store.   2) Has anybody had a problem getting back to the tavern, so far? I.e., do we need a rule like this? Plus, unless we also hand out compasses, this isn't an early-game solution.

@creeperslayer The turn system is explained on page 1, in the rules. Didn't you say that you read them? SCneophyte checked it out at 15:04 CST so should be checking in 24 - 25 hours from then.

@Colin 1) All the eggs I 'found' went straight into my mouth!   2) I CAN do parcour but not too well on this device - there a touch input timing bug that messes with me. (I'm NOT the only one with THIS bug...)

@all:  I'm in a flight. While I don't expect to be late on my checkin if I am then you know why. Please don't skip me!

@stanimus: yes. I used the furniture link and it worked well. I appreciate that thought to add the current resources' values.

@scdude: I don't use magnets so I honestly don't care. But I agree with Stanimus: if you impose this rule then people should be given compasses in their initial kit. As I've been writing this I now think this could be an interesting idea: you can choose to have a compass or (some value of) currency in your initial kit. Then, people like me could have money and keep the survival at a more difficult level and others who might be newer to survival could get some help. What do you think?

@colin: just so you know, I'm not a dude (i was hoping my reaction about the "good ole boys club would clue you in"). I couldn't even make the first jump. I use the pads for control and also have the look-glitch. If you ever make another course that's survival, fighting a bunch of bad guys, then I'm  game for that one.

Ps: I love when my turn falls during a flight. Four straight hours of SC!

@stan I believe in you, you've been playing for quite some time

@neo That's nice, I would love to see a bit more variety in the gaming scene si it's not just a complete sausage party. Have a safe flight. And the entire game is your course for fighting stuff, lol. Sohnds like you fly often. May i know why?

@all I feel like after so muhc survival you guys should be perhaps better at parkour. I've found it useful in caves I thimk, when I played harmless for an hour. Might be useful for building too.

Colin, I appreciate the confidence. I've done a couple of your maps and got pretty good at jumping. Not great but pretty good. The around-the-corner ones still give me fits. The problem now isn't my thumbs, it's the game. That blasted look away bug where suddenly the character is looking in some random direction. That makes it quite difficult to stay on course!

The technique was more useful when we had the huge caves but only rarely comes in handy now. (I really miss those massive cave systems...) I actually use the long jump for my beds in cruel. I just place a single leaf block where it takes a long jump to get to it and it's high above the ground. Safe sleeping...

Dost thou mind if I cut in soon? I shall be available for the rest of the week (at least in my afternoons). I can put a little time in to improve Estlithvia. Maybe actually relocate this time...

If fredhats takes it today, creeperslayer can take it tomorrow(since he's going to take mayfield today), and the government turn can be after that.

What are the plans for the government turn?

@stan that kinda sucks, your game seems way buggier than most others. i'm sure you could be a better player. how does it affect your survival skills? yeah corner jumps are kinda tough, even for me. needs a few tries.

That's funny.  I'm used to being the one of the only females in a room full of sausages :)  That is true that playing cruel is challenging but, personally, I would run through a dangerous course with the promise of diamond tools at the other side...but I can't even understand how the first jump would work.  Maybe you can give me some tips and I'll try again.  I fly almost every week, mostly continental US though I do sometimes visit your side of the pond.  The simplest explanation is that I sell software.

@scneo Whoa, that means you're an adult? I pretty much figure everyone here is a male teenager, until I learn otherwise.

I don't rwally have any pointers. It just takes practice. You should probably play my older maps which are much easier. I recommend Parkour Extremities 2 because it starts basic, but there are some harder jumps later. You'll slowly get the hang of it, and once you know how stuff work you can try more technical maps and all that.

I don't know if this helps but on my videos there are circles showing up where my fingers are touching the screen, while I do parkour.

I hope this off topic conversation won't annoy the other Biome Wars people o.o
