Well, you're a little late dude. This is NOT SC's first tool. If you wanted to be a beta of the FIRST mapping tool you'd have to go all the way back to the one that had a 2D interface and stuff. I don't remember what it's called because it kinda sucked so I never used it.

There is also my SCTB beta release, which literally has "tool" in it's name and is released already for public use (link was posted by Tipam in this thread).

@Tipam: Come on man! Do NOT let this die. We all need you!
In the meantime, SCTB is not dead. Development has been slowed however. I got a new job and have school, my partner is busy with other stuff until I need him.

I think Tipam has followed Kaalus into Oblivion (or the country of Dontgivadamnanymore)... Wish someone could just make a 'simple' cut-and-paste tool. That would go a long way to helping us with complex builds... Combine that with a full-featured shape maker, like your SCTB could be, and we could do so much! I would also like to see a Memory Bank programmer but that's more specific (for me!)

Love your work

I like everything you've done so far! If I was eight months older, I would be a beta tester in a second. :-(-:

Tipam Wake up man, don't be another person promising all the riches then just flat line on us. If not for the luv then do it for the money. Hell I would pay £3.99 for this Awsom tool. Get to it fella you have work to do.

@hexr

indeed it is. Survivalcraft has really fallen behind on all app stores. I doubt that this coming update will reverse that trend.

To be fair, he did NOT just give us false hope. He was seriously working on it. It was Kaalus' 6 month absence that drove him off. I was even beta testing his editor. Sadly, the software I have is still quite preliminary. Plus, it didn't work well on my old laptop.

It does not have full functionality. There was no cut/paste for instance and that's the primary reason I want an editor. It just ran very very very slow on the laptop. I may try it on a newer desktop soon but I wouldn't hold much hope for it.

I believe I have the evidence. Tipam's final post was about the PC version being released(if you look on his history).
I remember PMing him about an error that caused my computer to read it as a virus, and after that, he quit responding.
I'm not sure if it was malware, or a bug, so I can't make any conclusions.

Does anyone have any other evidence for his disappearance on the forum?
I'm open to new ideas.
